Merry Christmas!

I was going to post some Christmas comics, but there are a lot of good ones online already:

Teddy Bear in Toyland
Winky the Toymaker
Surprise Christmas Present
The Whitest White Christmas
Santa's Return Trip

I'm thinking I should be posting more original work here, because I'd like to do more cartooning work to supplement the animation jobs. Comics and comic strips have always been my preference...I like the creative side of things. Not to mention the autonomy!

This is a Christmas card I made several years ago...feel free to print it out if you like it (but download it first...it's 300 dpi). It needs to be folded in half twice, so that the cartoon ends up on the front and it opens left to right.

Doug: If this is a sampling of your work, please post more! I loved this card and only wish I could have downloaded it sooner to use! (I still might, now that I think of it - co-workers! Perfect!) Thanks a million, and hope to see more orignal stuff soon. -- Merry Christmas! -- Mykal

Thanks very much, Mykal, I'm glad you like it! I'm reworking my website as well, but that could take a while...meantime I want to start using this blog in the way I had originally meant, to get feedback on my personal projects.

Merry Christmas to you as well! I'm taking a week off soon, and I hope to catch up on all the cool stuff you and Gabriel have been posting lately!

Absolutely great, Doug!

Two days ago or so, I did discover your website, but unfortunately to me there's no content in it yet. Glad to see your work here at last! I endorse Mykal's comment: please post more of your stuff. It will be a pleasure to look at.

Thanks for sharing and linking and Happy Holidays, my friend!

Thanks, Gabriel! I'm making a new website, but it won't be finished for at least a couple of months. I am not as good as you when it comes to design...

Happy Holidays to you as well!

I would definitely like to see you incorporate more of your original work into you blog.

Enjoy the freedom...and autonomy...you get from this wonderful free-wheeling format!
